BODYARMOR has started to make waves in the sports drink world.  To further boost their platform, the comapny has signed their first endorser from the golf world. 

Dustin Johnson is the newest BODYARMOR brand ambassador.  He will be used in advertising, social media and overall marketing.  

As part of the deal, Johnson also has an ownership stake in BODYARMOR.  This is the company's 12th athlete endorser, including names like James Harden, Andrew Luck and Buster Posey.  

Johnson is currently eighth in the Official World Golf Ranking.  In the first major of 2016, he finished tied for fourth at the Masters after three top ten major finishes last year. 

That strong 2015 included a win at the WGC-Cadillac Championship.  Overall, he has nine career wins on the PGA Tour and has competed for the U.S. in both the 2010 and 2012 Ryder Cup.  

Johnson originally turned pro in 2007 and earned his PGA Tour card in 2008.  During his rookie season, he won his first event, the Turning Stone Resort Championship.
