With his first All-Star appearance in the books, Isaiah Thomas has firmly established himself as the leader of the rising Boston Celtics.  With his elevated status, fans are surely going to be excited to meet him at the first Boston Modell's Sporting Goods store on Tuesday.

As part of the store's opening week celebration, Thomas will be participating in an autograph signing at the Boylston Street location.  From 5-6 p.m. he will sign either an item purchased at Modell's or a free player card.  

The first 150 people to arrive for the signing will be guaranteed an autograph.  Other sports stars like NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal and New England Patriots defensive tackle Dominique Easley has made appearances at the store in the last week.  

Thomas is currently averaging 22.1 points and 6.5 assists a game for the 40-30 Celtics.  With his All-Star selection in February, he became the lowest drafted player since 1989 and tied the mark of the shortest player ever selected to the game.  

Thomas has proved to be a perfect fit in Boston after being traded from the Phoenix Suns midway through last year.  He spent the first three seasons of his career with the Sacramento Kings and averaged over 20 points per game for the first time in the 2013-14 season.

Thomas was a second-team All-Rookie selection in 2012 after being drafted late in the second round out of the University of Washington.  For the Huskies, he was a two-time first-team All-Pac 10 pick and two-time Pac-10 Tournament MVP.
