A season with Peyton Manning can do wonders for a wide receiver’s career. That first year with Manning and the Denver Broncos has apparently raised the profile of Emmanuel Sanders off the field as well.
Sanders inked a one-year endorsement deal with global communications company CenturyLink. He will be the company’s spokesperson in a Denver-based campaign that launches this fall.
Sanders will partner with CenturyLink on a series of giveaways on his Instagram and Twitter accounts. He will also appear across all media platforms in the “Home Team, Home Connection” ad campaign.
CenturyLink is already heavily invested in the football business. They have a naming rights deal with the Seattle Seahawks stadium that runs until August 2019.
Sanders had by far his best season as a pro last year, catching 101 passes for 1,404 yards and nine touchdowns. As a result, he was selected to his first Pro Bowl squad and enters 2015 at #95 on the NFL's Top 100 Players list.
After being a third round pick in 2010, Sanders spent the first four years of his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played in the Super Bowl during his rookie campaign and was a vital part of Ben Roethlisberger’s passing attack.
