BYU Football Coach Kalani Sitake Speaks at RootsTech Family Discovery Day in February

So far, Kalani Sitake has felt right at home at his alma mater, Brigham Young University.  The Cougars football coach will speak at an event this February geared towards many who share his Morman faith.

Sitake is one of the featured guest speakers at RootsTech Family Discovery Day February 11th.  The event will take place at the Salt Palace in Salt Lake City.

RootsTech is considered the world's largest genealogy conference.  In addition to speakers like Sitake, there will be interactive activities, performing artists and the latest family history technology.

In his first year at the helm of the BYU program, Sitake has the Cougars sitting on the verge of bowl eligibility at 5-4.  When he was hired last December, he became the first Tongan head coach in college football history.

Prior to arriving back in Provo, Sitake spent a year as the associate head coach and defensive coordinator at Oregon State.  From 2005-2014, he was an assistant at Utah.

As a player, Sitake was a three-year starter at fullback for BYU.  As a junior he helped the program win its first Mountain West Conference title.
