Tennis icon Chris Evert has the opportunity this fall to speak at a corporate event right in her backyard of Boca Raton, Florida. She has been named one of the keynote speakers for Canon Solutions America's thINK 2016.
thINK 2016 runs October 10-12 and it stands as the largest customer-led inkjet conference in the world. Last year's inaugural event drew over 350 attendees.
In addition to Evert, there will be other speakers, many experts from the inkjet field. This year, teamwork and peer mentorship are particular themes most of the presentations will center on.
Evert dominated her era of tennis, winning 18 Grand Slam singles titles. She finished the year as the number one singles player in the world on seven different occasions.
Evert made a record 34 Grand Slam finals and reached at least the semifinals in 52 0f 56 career slams she played. Her career winning percentage of just under 90 percent is the highest in the Open Era.
As a member of the International Tennis Hall of Fame, Evert has been a tremendous ambassador for the sport in retirement. She currently serves as an analyst for ESPN.
