This Saturday, Carolina Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis is speaking at a very special event in Minnesota.  Davis is a featured guest along with Pro Football Hall of Fame coach Tony Dungy at Arise With The Guys.

Arise With The Guys is an annual event put on at Grace Church in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.  It is organized to bring together Christian athletes to share their inspirational stories.  

The schedule will run from 9-10:30 a.m. in the church auditorium on Saturday morning.  Main floor tickets are already sold out but terrace/balcony seating is still available for $10.  

Davis had his best season in helping lead the Panthers to Super Bowl 50.  He recorded 105 tackles, 5.5 sacks, seven pass deflections, and four interceptions.

For his efforts, Davis made his first Pro Bowl and first All-Pro team.  After breaking his arm in the NFC Championship team, he even returned for the Super Bowl and notched seven tackles in the loss to the Denver Broncos.

Davis has spent his entire 11-year NFL career in Carolina after being a first round pick out of Georgia in 2005.  In addition to his stellar on-field play, he has been honored off the field with the 2014 Walter Payton Man of the Year, 2016 "Whizzer" White Man of the Year, and 2016 Bart Starr Award.
