Some Dallas Stars fans get a special treat at a game next week. Citi is hosting an appearance for team legend Mike Modano at the American Airlines Center. 

The event takes place in the Gentleman Jack Lounge at 5:30 p.m., prior to the Stars game against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Attendees can gain access to the event by calling 800-301-3327 and using the first six digits of their Citi credit or debit card. 

The price of admission to the reception is $80 and it includes a game ticket. In addition to meeting Modano, fans will get to partake in food and drinks. 

Modano is the NHL's all-time leading goal scorer and points leader among American players. The Minnesota North Stars originally made him the first overall pick in the 1988 NHL Entry Draft. 

After five seasons in Minnesota, he followed the franchise to Dallas and immediately became a fan favorite. He notched a team-high 23 points during the 1999 Stanley Cup Playoffs and helped the Stars hoist the Cup. 

Modano was elected to eight All-Star teams during his career. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2014 and made the 100 Greatest NHL Players list in 2017.
