The Greater Greenwood Clemson Club is hosting their annual Prowl & Growl next month. Clemson football coach Dabo Swinney will be one of the featured speakers. 

The event takes place on May 8th at the Piedmont Tech Medford Center. In addition to Swinney, the Tigers basketball coach, Brad Brownell will also be on hand. 

Tickets are $25 in advance for adults and $15 for children. They can be purchased at several locations around town and the price will increase for those who purchase at the door. 

Swinney has elevated the Clemson program to a new level and is riding the wave of the Tigers triumph this past January in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game. The 2016 season marked the second straight CFP appearance and Atlantic Coast Conference title for the team. 

Clemson has won at least ten games in each of the past six seasons. In that time, Swinney has won several national coach of the year awards and was the 2015 ACC Coach of the Year. 

After serving as an assistant coach on the Clemson staff for over five years, Swinney was named head coach on an interim basis in 2008. He began his coaching career at his alma mater, Alabama.
