College Basketball Expert Doug Gottlieb to Keynote Henry P. Iba Citizen Athlete Awards

As one of America’s top sports media personalities, Doug Gottlieb calls the Southern California area home. Despite being thousands of miles away however he still holds his college state of Oklahoma close.

The former Oklahoma State basketball player will serve as the keynote speaker on June 18 at the 25th annual Henry P. Iba Citizen Athlete Awards. He has previously been a guest at the Iba awards, which were founded in 1994 by the Rotary Club of Tulsa.

Gottlieb will share his admiration for the athletes and humanitarians that are honored when he speaks at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. One can certainly imagine that he will have some fun anecdotes to share about this ongoing March Madness run as well.

Gottlieb currently hosts The Doug Gottlieb Show nationwide in afternoon drive on Fox Sports Radio and is a basketball analyst for Fox Sports. He previously served as a television and radio host and analyst for CBS Sports.

Gottlieb got the opportunity to work on CBS and Turner Sports joint coverage of the NCAA Tournament. He began his national broadcasting career as a college basketball game analyst and evening radio host for ESPN.

As a player, Gottlieb set almost every school assist record and is still the Cowboys all-time assists leader.  He also ranks tenth in NCAA history with 947 assists.
