College Football Hall of Fame Quarterback Archie Manning Speaks at Oklahoma Baptist University in March

Legendary quarterback Archie Manning is heading to Oklahoma City in March to speak at a special event.  Oklahoma Baptist University has announced him as the featured speaker at the Green and Gold Gala.  

The evening takes place on March 7th at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum.  That night, fund will be raised for scholarships at OBU.  

Tickets are $150 per person and $75 of each purchase goes towards the scholarships. Manning will share some leadership lessons that he has learned through every phase in his life.  

Manning dominated during an All-American college career at the University of Mississippi.  He was the SEC Player of the Year in 1969 and his #18 jersey is retired at Ole Miss. 

Manning was selected second overall by the New Orleans Saints in the 1971 NFL Draft.  He was a two-time Pro Bowler and the 1978 NFC Most Valuable Player during his 15-year pro career.

Today, he is still a great ambassador for the game of football.  He is also well-recognized for his iconic family that features his Super Bowl-winning sons Peyton and Eli.
