College Football Playoff Executive Director Bill Hancock Keynotes PACnet Conference Next Month

College Football Playoff executive director Bill Hancock presided over another successful end to the season last night. He will be able to speak about some of the success associated with college football's postseason system next month at the PACnet community conference. 

The conference is being hosted by Spectra Ticketing & Fan Engagement. It is being held February 12-15 at the Newport Beach Hotel & Spa in Newport Beach, California. 

Hancock will share leadership tips for those in the live entertainment business. His comments will be streamed to the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics as well. 

Hancock is the first CFP executive director and has now seen three final four playoff showdowns in his role. He previously served as the Bowl Championship Series' first executive director. 

In 2005, Hancock joined the BCS as administrator. He had been the first full-time director at the NCAA Final Four and spent 16 years overall working for the NCAA Division 1 Men's Basketball Championship. 

Hancock's career began as an assistant sports information director at his alma mater, Oklahoma, in 1971. He is the author of two books.
