The All-Texomaland Banquet features one of the top sports stars in Texas this year. Dallas Cowboys linebacker Sean Lee is scheduled to speak.
The event takes place on June 29th at the Texoma Event Center at the Hilton Garden Inn. Student-athletes will be recognized from the 31 high schools that make up The Herald-Democrat's coverage area.
The festivities are presented by The Herald-Democrat and the Texoma Medical Center. A record crowd is expected for the fourth annual event.
Lee is seven-year Cowboys and NFL veteran. The Cowboys originally selected him in the second round of the 2010 NFL Draft.
Lee has gone to back-to-back Pro Bowls and was named a first-team All-Pro this past season. In 2016, he keyed a defense that helped carry Dallas to a 13-3 regular season record.
Lee played college football at Penn State, where he was a team captain in 2008. He was also a two-time second-team All-Big Ten selection.
