Yogi Ferrell has had an interesting road to relevance in the NBA. Now that he is an established star for the Dallas Mavericks, he is holding his first player appearance in the city tomorrow. 

Ferrell is making a stop at one of the newest Raising Cane's locations in Dallas. From 6-7 p.m., he will be behind the counter and taking dinner orders. 

The Raising Cane's location is located at 2255 W. Northwest Highway. The store was originally opened on February 14th and is one of over 300 locations of the chain in operation across the United States. 

Ferrell was a standout performer during four seasons at the University of Indiana. He was a two-time first-team All-Big Ten performer for the Hoosiers and is the school's all-time assists leader. 

Despite his stellar play, Ferrell went undrafted this summer and joined the Brooklyn Nets as a free agent. He played in just ten games for the Nets but became a D-League All-Star this year with the Long Island Nets. 

In January, Ferrell signed a 10-day contract with the Mavs. He was named Western Conference Rookie of the Month in February after leading West rookies with 12 points per game and 4.7 assists per game.
