Davis was a three-time first-team All-Pro and three-time Pro Bowler. He won the NFL Offensive Player of the Year award on two occasions and was league MVP in 1998. 

Davis is a member of the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame and has been inducted into the Broncos Ring of Honor. He was recently elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
