Lions wide receiver Marvin Jones will again be hosting a summer camp in the greater Detroit area. The Marvin Jones Football ProCamp runs June 23-24 at Lake Orion High School in Lake Orion, Michigan.
Each day, boys and girls in grades 1-8 will participate in the camp from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. They will get expert instruction on the fundamentals of the game from Jones and a staff of coaches.
Registration to attend is $149. In addition to the coaching, each camper will receive an autograph from Jones, a team photo and camp t-shirt.
Jones has caught 49 passes for 838 yards and four touchdowns this season for the 9-5 division-leading Lions. It is his first season in Detroit after signing a free agent contract in the offfseason.
Jones spent the first three seasons of his career with the Cincinnati Bengals. Each of his last two seasons in Cincy, he went over 700 receiving yards.
The Bengals originally selected Jones in the fifth round of the 2012 NFL Draft. He played college football at the University of California, where he was an honorable mention All-Pac 12 selection as a senior.
