Ex-Player and Manager Willie Randolph Speaks at BA Sports Breakfast January 29th

On January 29th, the Men's Club of Temple B'nai Abraham is holding their annual sports breakfast in Livingston, New Jersey. They are bringing in one of the more memorable New York Yankees of all-time, Willie Randolph

Randolph will speak at the event that begins at 10 a.m. Check-in starts at 9 a.m. and there will also be an autograph signing opportunity with him.

Admission for member families is $50 and non-member families are $75. Individual tickets run from $25-$50 and there are several sponsorship packages available.

Randolph played for six franchises during his 18-year major league career, but his time in New York stands out. He made five of his six All-Star appearances while in pinstripes.

Overall, Randolph collected over 2,000 hits and is regarded as one of the greatest second basemen in baseball history. He was able to win back-to-back World Series titles with the Yankees in 1977-78 and was co-captain of the team from 1986-88.

After retiring as a player, Randolph spent over a decade on the New York bench as a coach. He was manager of the New York Mets from 2005-08 and led them to the National League Championship Series in 2006.
