When football legend Jim Brown speaks, people usually listen. This year, attendees at the Paul Hornung Award Banquet get the opportunity to hear some of his words of wisdom. 

The event takes place from 7-9 p.m. on March 8th at the Galt House Hotel in downtown Louisville, Kentucky, In addition to listening to Brown, attendees will see former Penn State running back Saquon Barkley receive the Paul Hornung Award.

Even though he only played with the Cleveland Browns for nine years, Brown is considered one of the greatest running backs in NFL history. He was a nine-time Pro Bowler and eight-time first-team All-Pro. 

When Brown retired, he held league records with 2,359 rushes for 12,312 and 106 touchdowns. He led the NFL in rushing eight times and was a three-time league MVP. 

Brown also won an NFL Championship with the Browns in 1964. He is a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame and College Football Hall of Fame.
