Tonight, former Chicago Bears standout Jerry Azumah is taking part in a special event in The Windy City. He will be making an appearance at Toast to Traditions at Bottled Blonde.
The event runs from 6:30-8:30 p.m. and is being put on by RedEye Chicago. Attendees have the opportunity to sip on Gentleman Jack cocktails while enjoying other luxuries.
There will also be an opportunity to try Jack Daniel's Sinatra Select and get some whiskey education. The $35 general admission tickets are sold out and some of the proceeds are benefiting Rags of Honor, a custom apparel company that hires veterans who are down on their luck.
Azumah spent his entire seven-year career with the Chicago Bears. He was an All-Pro and Pro Bowl selection in 2003 after leading the NFL in kickoff returns.
With ten career interceptions, Azumah also had his fair share of highlight moments playing cornerback. During the 2002 postseason, he recorded the final touchdown at Soldier Field with a 39-yard pick six against Donovan McNabb and the Philadelphia Eagles.
Azumah has continued to make Chicago his home following his 2006 retirement. He has been a successful broadcaster and businessman in the area while founding multiple companies.
