Former NBA Star Chauncey Billups Speaks to the Cleveland Browns

There is no denying the ability Chauncey Billups had to motivate his teammates during his distinguished career. On Tuesday, he was at work firing up a totally different type of locker room. 

Billups was at the Cleveland Browns facility in Barea, Ohio. It may be the perfect time to hit the 0-12 Browns as they are on their bye week searching for ways to get a win before the end of the season. 

Billups shared his personal story about determination with the group. He also told them to keep working hard and find the positives within in the difficult season they have experienced. 

For 17 seasons, Billups was one of the NBA's top point guards. The Boston Celtics originally selected him third overall in the 1997 NBA Draft. 

While Billups experienced ups and downs early in his career, he found a home with the Detroit Pistons in 2002. He became a five-time All-Star and a two-time All-Defensive team selection. 

In 2004, the Pistons won an NBA title and Billups was NBA Finals MVP. His number one jersey is retired by the franchise and he will forever be known as "Mr. Big Shot" for his dramatic moments in a Detroit jersey.
