Former NFL Running Back Brian Westbrook Appears at Autograph Signing

This weekend, former Philadelphia Eagles star Brian Westbrook got to mingle with some of his biggest fans.  Westbrook appeared at an autograph signing on Saturday at the Mohegan Sun Pocono in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.

The event was part of the casino resort's Signings and Sightings series.  The first 150 people to line up on the Sky Bridge prior to the 7 p.m. signing received a free wristband to get a Westbrook signature.

Many people could be seen in line wearing Westbrook's #36 Eagles jersey.  He also discussed the recent changes occuring with the franchise with assembled media.

Westbrook played eight of his nine NFL seasons with Philadelphia and was a two-time Pro Bowl and first-team All-Pro pick.  During his career, he was one of the best all-purpose backs in the league, rushing for over 6,000 yards while catching passes for nearly 4,000 yards.

There is no denying Westbrook's role in one of the golden eras of Eagles football.  The team made six playoff appearances during his tenure, made it to four NFC Championship games, and appeared in Super Bowl XXXIX.

In 2015, Westbrook was honored for his accomplishments with induction into the Eagles Hall of Fame.  He has been an analyst for Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia since his retirement following the 2010 season and also can be seen nationally on NBC Sports Network's Pro Football Talk.
