Former NFL Tight End Anthony Becht Holds Summer Camps in Tampa and Philadelphia

Former NFL tight end Anthony Becht is spending part of his summer holding youth camps in the two regions that have been most important in his life. His first camp will be held in his current hometown of Tampa June 27-29 at Land O' Lakes High School.

Then, from July 18-20, Becht will be in Delaware County where he grew up right outside of Philadelphia at Bonner/Prendergast High School.  Registration for both three-day camps is $160.

Boys and girls in the first through eighth grades are welcome to sign up.  Becht has been holding camps for ten years.

Becht had an 11-year NFL career.  He spent the first five seasons with the New York Jets, where he also achieved his greatest levels of success.

The Jets originally selected Becht in the first round of the 2000 NFL Draft.  In college at West Virginia, he was a two-time second team All-Big East pick and an honorable mention All-American in 1999.

Becht remains involved in the game today as a broadcaster.  He is a college football analyst for ESPN and contributes his commentary for Bucs pre and postgame coverage on the radio.
