Even when he was in Columbus coaching the Ohio State Buckeyes, Jim Tressel remained an important part of the community in Youngstown, Ohio. This morning, he kicked off the DOYO Live conference in town. 

DOYO Live is Youngstown's digital marketing and interactive design conference. All speakers and workshops are hosted at Youngstown State University's Williamson College of Business. 

Tressel spoke to the sold out crowd at 9 a.m. The crowd of over 200 people from last year swelled to more than 260 this year. 

Tressel is currently the President of Youngstown State. He was the head football coach at the school from 1986-2000 and the Penguins won four NCAA Division I-AA Championships under his watch. 

Tressel went on to establish a tremendous legacy as the head coach at Ohio State. In his second season, the Buckeyes went 14-0 and won the BCS National Championship. 

In seven of Tressel's ten seasons, Ohio State finished ranked in the top five. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2015.
