Former star wide receiver Terrell Owens might be on the precipice of one of the biggest weekends of his life if he gets elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. As he awaits his fate in Minneapolis, Owens has been making the rounds promoting a product for Procter & Gamble.
They signed him as a brand ambassador for Febreze air freshener. Owens has been pushing the #BleepDontStink hashtag during appearances and talking to people about preparing their homes for the Super Bowl.
Febreze will have a 30-second commercial that airs during the second quarter of the Super Bowl. While Owens is not in the spot, he has introduced fans to the company's new character, Dave, this week.
Owens ranks second in NFL history with 15,934 yards and third with 153 receiving touchdowns. Over his 16-year career, he was selected to six Pro Bowls and was a five-time first-team All-Pro.
Owens led the NFL in touchdown receptions three times. The San Francisco 49ers originally selected him in the third round of the 1996 NFL Draft and he spent his first eight seasons with the franchise.
In 2004, Owens set the Philadelphia Eagles single-season receiving touchdowns record and helped the team reach Super Bowl XXXIX. He also played for the Dallas Cowboys, Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals.
