Golfer David Hearn Signs Endorsement Deal with Canadian Media Giant Shaw Communications

As Canada's top ranked golfer in the world, David Hearn has been drawing the eye of several companies from his home country.  Most recently, Hearn agreed to an endorsement deal with the Canadian media conglomerate Shaw Communications.

He will wear Shaw's logo on his apparel in competition.  The telecommunications company also renewed deals with fellow golfers Graham DeLaet and Adam Hadwin.

Companies are gearing up for the 2016 Olympics and Hearn is likely to represent Canada in the Games.  He agreed to a partnership with Rockway Vineyards in November and already has deals with  RBC, TaylorMade, Titleist, FootJoy, Dunning Golf and Kia

In 2015, Hearn had one second and one third place showing on the PGA Tour and finished with a career-best year-end earnings of over $1.8 million.  He narrowly missed out on becoming the first home-winner of the RBC Canadian Open in 61 years after holding the 54-hole lead, but ultimately finished third.

Hearn has earned over $6.5 million in prize money in his PGA Tour career.  He has wins on both the Web.com and Canadian Tours.

After playing collegiately at the University of Wyoming, Hearn turned pro in 2001.  The following year, he won Canadian Rookie of the Year honors.
