ESPN Sportscenter anchor Hannah Storm has built a notable career in sports broadcasting. She should be a familiar face when she speaks to the graduates of Greenwich High School in Connecticut.
The school has announced Storm as commencement speaker for their June 21st ceremony. It will be held at Cardinal Stadium on campus beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Seating for the graduation is unlimited and given out on a first-come, first-served basis. There are contingency plans for inclement weather and each graduate's family will receive three tickets for this scenario.
Storm joined ESPN in 2008 and serves as the weekday morning Sportscenter anchor. During the NFL season, viewers can also see her on hosting SportsCenter on Sunday mornings.
In addition, Storm is a point person for ESPN as an on-site host at many of their major live sporting events. She has crossed over into the production world as well, creating her own interview series and serving as a director and producer on multiple installments of the network's award-winning "30 for 30" documentaries.
Prior to arriving at ESPN, Storm was the host of CBS' "The Early Show" for five years. She previously worked predominantly in sports television with NBC Sports and CNN.
