Hall of Fame running back Thurman Thomas is speaking at an event that raises funds for the Montana State football program. The Triangle Classic banquet takes place on April 7th.
The event takes place at 6 p.m. the Montana ExpoPark in Great Falls. Thomas is replacing fellow Pro Football Hall of Famer Rod Woodson as the featured speaker.
The next day, the Bobcats will hold a special scrimmage in Great Falls. Prior to MSU scrimmage, there will be football and spirit squad clinics on the Great Falls practice fields.
Thomas spent 12 of 13 seasons with the Buffalo Bills. He rushed for over 12,000 yards and played in four straight Super Bowls with the franchise.
In 1999, Thomas was named Most Valuable Player and the NFL's Offensive Player of the Year. He was elected to five Pro Bowls and was a five-time All-Pro.
Thomas is a member of the Buffalo Bills Wall of Fame. He is also a member of the College Football Hall of Fame from his standout career at Oklahoma State.
