Due to national television exposure on TBS and their success in the 1990s, the Atlanta Braves have been the most popular baseball team across the southeast for some time. Hall of Fame pitcher Tom Glavine was one of the players who contributed to the rise of Braves baseball.
On Saturday, Glavine will see the widespread appeal he helped to create firsthand when he is the keynote speaker at an event in Cleveland, Tennessee. He will headline the sixth annual Bradley Sunrise Rotary Sunset Gala at Cleveland Country Club.
The evening begins at 6:00 p.m. and guests can look over several auction items at that time. A five-star dinner follows at 7:00 p.m.

In 2014, Glavine was voted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility. He won 305 games in his career, was a ten-time All-Star, and captured two Cy Young Awards.
Glavine pitched the first 16 seasons of his career in Atlanta. While he helped the Braves to four World Series he was named MVP of the one Fall Classic they won in 1995.
