As the star of top boxer Gennady Golovkin rises, so too do his endorsement opportunities. His latest deal is as the newest brand ambassador for Hublot.
The partnership officially kicked off during Golovkin's fight on Saturday. He wore Hublot on his shorts and the company logo was also featured in the center of the ring.
Hublot has released three special timepieces to announce the agreement with Golovkin. They have been in the boxing game since 2012 when they became partners with the World Boxing Council.
After his successful decision victory over Daniel Jacobs at Madison Square Garden on Saturday, Golovkin remains undefeated at 37-0. He retained his WBA, WBC, IBF and IBO middleweight championships.
Golovkin has 31 knockouts as a professional and has never even been knocked down as an amateur or a pro. Many organizations consider him one of the top ten pound-for-pound boxers in the world.
In 2010, Golovkin won his first major title belt, the WBA middleweight championship. He is a former Olympic medalist as well, winning silver in the middleweight division for Kazakhstan at the 2004 Games.
