The Chinese sportswear leader ANTA is expanding their footprint.  In an effort to boost business in the training and boxing markets, they have signed international boxing icon Manny Pacquiao to an endorsement deal.

They held an event last Wednesday at the Wynn in Las Vegas to announce the partnership.  During that presentation, they unveiled the "FIGHT ON" Pacquiao series of equipment. 

ANTA already has strong footholds in the basketball and track and field markets.  They have recently retired NBA great Kevin Garnett and current All-Star on their current roster of athlete endorsers. 

Pacquiao has held world boxing titles in eight different divisions.  He is currently the lineal welterweight title and took the WBO welterweight belt this past weekend with a win over Jessie Vargas. 

In his 21-year career, Pacquiao has had 22 pay-per-view fights.  The Boxing Writers Association of America voted him the Fighter of the Decade in the 2000s.  

Pacquiao is popular across the world, but is a revered personality in his home country, the Philippines.  He served two terms in their House of Representatives and is currently a senator.
