It has been a great spring and summer for Indianapolis Colts rookie Malik Hooker. On Sunday, he made an appearance back in his hometown for an autograph signing. 

Hooker was met by adoring fans at Cascade Park in New Castle, Pennsylvania. The signing took place from 3-5 p.m, autographs cost $10 each and fans were welcome to bring their own merchandise. 

There were also photographs for the signing provided by Hooker. Proceeds benefited the Delly Dream Divas dance, a program that Hooker's sister participates in. 

The Colts selected Hooker with the 15th overall pick in this past spring's NFL Draft. He shot to the top of draft boards after a standout sophomore season at Ohio State. 

Hooker was named a first-team All-American and first-team All-Big Ten pick. He finished third in the nation with seven interceptions and led the country with three interceptions returned for touchdowns. 

Hooker also played special teams as a freshman for a Buckeyes team that won the College Football Playoff. Before coming to Columbus, he went to New Castle High School and was named the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Male Athlete of the Year.
