Hall of Fame Major League Baseball manager Joe Torre will serve as the keynote speaker at TicketNetwork's annual conference, Ticket Summit, on Friday, July 17, 2015 at The Venetian Las Vegas. Torre's keynote address will close out three-day event's conference schedule of informative sessions, panels, and networking opportunities. Each year the Ticket Summit annual conference helps ticket brokers and others in the industry learn, connect and expand their business.
In addition to his keynote address, he will also be speaking at a private dinner for TicketNetwork's best clients on Thursday, July 16, 2015.
"Out attendees are going to love hearing from Joe Torre," said Don Vaccaro, CEO of TicketNetwork. "Just as he's inspired his teams and generations of fans, Mr. Torre will give Ticket Summit's attendees the encouragement they need to continue their success and build their business. His appearance will make Ticket Summit the place to be for everyone in the ticketing industry this summer."
During his playing career Torre was a nine-time All-Star, a Gold Glove Award winning catcher, and was named the 1971 National League MVP. After his 17 year playing career ended he took on a new role in the game as a major league manager. From 1977 to 2010 he built one of the most impressive managing resumes in major league history, managing five teams from 1977 to 2010 and leading the New York Yankees to four World Series Championships in 1996, 1998, 1999, and 2000.
