New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman is kicking off his tenure as brand ambassador for the denim brand Joe's. He is being featured in their latest denim fits and washes for the 2017 season. 

The campaign launches next month and will be spread across various digital and print outlets. There will also be outdoor advertising in Los Angeles, New York and Boston. 

Edelman is serving as a brand ambassador through 2018. Joe's is a California-based company that began in 2001 and now features 18 boutiques across the country. 

Edelman has been a reliable target for Tom Brady for several seasons. In 2016, he recorded the second 1,000-yard receiving season of his career and added 15 touchdowns. 

Edelman is a two-time Super Bowl champion who has appeared in the playoffs with the Patriots eight times. In addition to his pass-catching skills, he has also been a mainstay in New England as a punt returner. 

After being a seventh-round pick in the 2009 NFL Draft, Edelman has overcome the odds to become a veteran in the league. He was a three-year starter at quarterback in college at Kent State.
