Former coach Sonny Lubick essentially is Colorado State football.  That makes him the perfect keynote speaker for this weekend's Colorado State football coaches clinic.

Current CSU coach Mike Bobo is hosting the event.  Four of the state's top high school coaches will also speak and attendees get the opportunity to observe Rams spring practice over the two days.

Registration to attend costs $40.  All events for the clinic will be held on campus, with many of the presentations taking place in the school's auditorium.  

Lubick has the most wins of any coach in Colorado State history.  His overall career record between stops at CSU and Montana State is 129-93.

With Lubick at the helm, the Rams won three Western Athletic Conference and three Mountain West Conference titles.  They also had four double-digit win seasons and went to nine bowl games under his watch.

After a 10-2 season and top-15 finish in the polls in 1994, Lubick was named National Coach of the Year by Sports Illustrated.  He remains an active part of the Fort Collins community today and operates a steakhouse in the city's downtown.
