Bob Knight is going back to the town where he became a college basketball legend. On March 30th, he is speaking at Bloomington High School North in Indiana.
The event takes place at 7 p.m and was announced by the school on Facebook. Knight will participate in a discussion moderated by former sportswriter Bob Hammel.
He will share stories from his iconic coaching career. There are 3,000 tickets available and they cost $25 per person.
At three different stops, Knight won 902 games, which ranks second in Division 1 history. He got his first head coaching opportunity at Army before arriving at Indiana.
With the Hoosiers, Knight won three NCAA championships and 11 Big Ten Conference titles. He was National Coach of the Year on three occasions and an eight-time Big Ten Coach of the Year.
Knight finished up career leading Texas Tech to five NCAA Tournaments in seven seasons. He is a member of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame and the College Basketball Hall of Fame.
