Following his standout college career at LSU, infielder Alex Bregman has gone on to find success with the Houston Astros. He is heading back to Baton Rouge to speak at the team's 2018 banquet.
The event takes place on January 28th at Stage 8 of Celtic Studios. Individual tickets are $75 for adults, $65 for Coaches Committee members and $25 for kids in the eighth grade or younger.
Table sponsorships are available for $1,500 and $1,000. In addition to hearing from Bregman, attendees can participate in live and silent auctions along with getting autographs from the 2018 Tigers.
Bregman is one of baseball's rising young star and he hit .284 with 19 home runs, 71 RBI and 17 stolen bases in 2017. He was also instrumental in helping the Astros win the World Series in seven games.
Bregman started his year off right as the youngest member of Team USA's gold medal-winning squad at the World Baseball Classic. He originally debuted in the major leagues midway through the 2016 season.
Bregman was the 2016 USA Today Minor League Player of the Year. Houston originally selected him with the second overall pick in the 2015 MLB Draft.
