Earlier this month, Rachel Baribeau addressed the 83 members of the Mercer University football team. She was the latest speaker for the program's Fifth Quarter Series. 

Baribeau shared her #ChangingTheNarrative message with the student-athletes. The discussion is designed to explain how college football players can take back negative headlines and also educate them on domestic violence. 

The Bears coaching staff decided to invite Baribeau to campus after hearing her speak at the American Football Coaches Association convention last month. The series has welcomed several speakers to provide constructive information on life after football. 

Baribeau is a host for SiriusXM College Sports Nation and writer for Gridiron Now. She was the first female host on SiriusXM College Sports Nation. 

Since 2015, Baribeau has served as a Heisman Trophy voter. She is best known as one of the top voices of Southeastern Conference football. 

Baribeau often speaks to quarterback clubs and community organizations throughout the South. She holds a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism at Auburn University.
