Miami Dolphins running back Jay Ajayi has quickly been making people fans with his play on the field. On Friday night, he helped the new store Palm Beach Autographs generate some buzz. 

Ajayi made an appearance to sign autographs from 6-7 p.m. The store is located in The Mall in Wellington Green in West Palm Beach. 

Fans wrapped around the outside of the location to wait for Ajayi's arrival. They were certainly excited to get a variety of items autographed by a player who is quickly becoming one of the team's stars. 

After being inactive for Week 1 of the season, the prospects of 2016 being a breakout season for Ajayi seemed bleak. However, he worked his way back into the rotation and recorded back-to-back 200-yard rushing performances in October against the Pittsburgh Steelers and Buffalo Bills. 

Each week, Ajayi was named AFC Offensive Player of the Week. He currently has 902 rushing yards, seven touchdowns and a 5.2 yards per carry average for the playoff-contending Dolphins. 

Miami originally selected Ajayi in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL Draft. He played college football at Boise State, where he compiled two seasons with over 1,400 rushing yards and was a two-time first-team All-Mountain West Conference pick.
