After a breakout 2016 campaign, London-born Miami Dolphins running back Jay Ajayi has great pull as an international marketing force for the NFL. He is the newest brand ambassador for New Era. 

Ajayi will specifically represent New Era across Europe, the Middle East and Asia. He is working with the company on designing his own line of signature hats. 

The caps will be released prior to the Dolphins' game in London this year against the New Orleans Saints. Ajayi will also promote New Era and their various product launches via social media. 

Ajayi exploded in his second season, rushing for 1,272 yards and eight touchdowns. He was named to the Pro Bowl and helped Miami reach the playoffs. 

Ajayi became just the fourth player in league history to record over 200 rushing yards in three different games in a single season. For his back-to-back 200-yard outings in Week 6 and 7, he was named AFC Offensive Player of the Week. 

After being a fifth-round pick of the Dolphins in 2015, Ajayi played sparingly in nine games as a rookie. He played college football at Boise State, where he was a two-time first-team All-Mountain West Conference pick.
