Michigan State basketball coach Tom Izzo is revered throughout the state. He had the unique opportunity Thursday of speaking at the second annual Community Conversation on Bullying. 

The event was held at Oakland Schools. While many may not think Izzo would have anything to add to this particular conversation, he admitted that he himself bullied people in school. 

Izzo talked about the power adults have to prevent and stop bullying. Michigan Supreme Court Justice Richard Bernstein also spoke. 

After spending over a decade as an assistant, Izzo took over as the head coach of the Spartans in 1995. His teams have made 20 straight NCAA Tournaments and he is the all-time winningest coach in program history.

Izzo's teams have won seven Big Ten regular season championships and advanced to seven Final Fours. He is a three-time Big Ten Coach of the Year. 

In 2000, Izzo won the NCAA Championship. Last year, he was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
