Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer is using his platform next month for a good cause.  He will hold an autograph signing on July 21st at the FanHQ store at the Eden Prairie Center in Minnesota.  

Only 100 tickets exist for the signing that runs from 7-8 p.m.  Prices range from $29 that includes just an autograph to a $129 all-inclusive VIP package. 

The signing is part of the #MoreThanWords campaign that directly benefits the Mike Zimmer Foundation.  This year's initiative kicked off at the beginning of the month and it has already raised $3,500. 

Zimmer has become popular in Minnesota for making the Vikings success.  In 2015, the team went 11-5 and won the NFC North division. 

The Vikings went 7-9 in 2014 in Zimmer's first season, which was a two win improvement from the previous year.  Prior to arriving in Minnesota, he was the defensive coordinator for the Cincinnati Bengals for six seasons,. 

Zimmer had a decade of coaching experience in the NFL before taking the post with the Bengals.  His coaching career began in the college ranks as a defensive assistant at the University of Missouri in 1979.
