Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson is still going strong at the age of 30.  Peterson’s consistency and longevity has paid dividends on the endorsement market for years and that has never been more evident then during this comeback 2015 NFL season.

He told ESPN.com that he has signed a new shoe deal with Adidas.  Peterson had previously been aligned with Nike.

There is some history between the running back and his new apparel company.  Peterson wore Adidas as he rushed for 2,097 yards in his 2012 MVP season

Prior to the Vikings week five bye, Peterson was pacing the NFL in rushing yet again.  So far, he has 101 carries for 432 yards and three touchdowns.

Peterson has made six Pro Bowls and is likely headed for a seventh appearance following the season.  He owns nearly every significant Minnesota rushing record and has also been first-team All-Pro on three occasions.

From 2011-2014, Peterson was ranked in the top ten on the NFL’s annual list of top 100 players.  With no signs of slowing down, there are probably more records to be broken on the horizon for the ninth-year pro.
