One standout from the world of motorsports is working on his post-racing transition. As part of the next step in his involvement with racing, Scott Pruett will remain as a brand ambassador for Lexus.
Pruett will be a brand advocate for Lexus and also help with product testing and development. He is going to make appearances at Lexus Performance Driving School events, at-track experiences and Lexus brand events.
Later this month, Pruett will cap his career as a co-driver at the 24 Hours of Daytona. He will be driving 3GT Racing's No. 15 Lexus RC F GT3.
Pruett is one of the greatest sports car drivers of all-time, with a record-setting 60 North American victories. He holds a record-tying five 34 Hours of Daytona wins.
Prior to becoming known for his sports car prowess, Pruett spent a decade in Indy Car. He picked up two victories in CART and was the 1989 Indianapolis 500 co-rookie of the year.
Pruett spent the 2000 season racing in the NASCAR Winston Cup Series. He is a member of the Motorsports Hall of Fame and the World Karting Association Hall of Fame.
