Nebraska Basketball Coach Tim Miles Speaks at Big Red Today Breakfast

Nebraska basketball coach Tim Miles is getting people ready for the Huskers season.  On Thursday, he was the latest speaker at the Big Red Today Breakfast.

The breakfast was held at Anthony's Steakhouse in Omaha beginning at 6:30 a.m.  The program ran 7-8 a.m. and was hosted by the Omaha World-Herald and Fareway Food Stores.

Miles was able to break down his roster for the 125 people in attendance and discuss what his lineup might look like.  There are two more breakfasts in the series remaining and tickets are $25 for individuals and $200 for a table of eight.

Since 2012, Miles has led the Huskers program.  Nebraska has made the NCAA Tournament once, going 19-13 overall and finishing fourth in the Big Ten Conference during the 2013-14 season.

Prior to arriving in Lincoln, Miles was the head coach at Colorado State.  He gradually improved the program, leading the Rams to a 20-win season and second round NCAA Tournament appearance in 2012.

Miles has extensive head coaching experience, also heading up the programs at Mayville State, Southwest Minnesota State and North Dakota State.  His career started as an assistant coach at Nothern State.
