The Farmers Business Network is hosting a conference that helps those in the farming industry develop more of an entrepreneurial mindset. Farmer2Farmer: American Entrepreneurs is being held December 12-14 at the Hilton Hotel in Omaha, Nebraska.

There are several special speakers including one of the legends of college football. Attendees will certainly be excited to see Nebraska icon Tom Osborne on December 12th at 6:30 p.m. 

Osborne will share some of his timeless lessons of leadership gained from a life in coaching and administration. Other topics covered during the conference include farm business strategies and farm data science. 

Osborne built an almost unmatchable legacy as the head coach at Nebraska for 25 years. He compiled a career record of 255-49-3 and won three national championships. 

In addition, his Huskers teams captured 12 Big Eight titles and one Big 12 Championship. He won seven Big Eight Coach of the Year Awards and one Big 12 Coach of the Year Award. 

Upon retirement from coaching, Osborne was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives. He returned to Nebraska in 2007 and served as athletic director until 2013.
