Nebraska legend Tom Osborne has some vested interest in the future of the football program at the University of Central Florida. His old quarterback, Scott Frost, is the current head coach of the Knights. 

Frost was able to get his mentor to speak at this year's UCF Kickoff Luncheon. The event takes place on August 18th at the CFE Arena. 

Individual tickets to attend are $114 and tables of eight are $800. Osborne and Frost will also speak at a special dinner event at the DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando East-UCF on August 17th. 

Osborne compiled a resume that ranks him as one of the most successful coaches in college football history. He went 255-49-3 while leading the Huskers. 

Nebraska won 13 conference championships and three national championships under Osborne. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1999. 

After retiring from coaching, Osborne represented Nebraska in the U.S. House of Representatives. He was Nebraska's athletic director from 2007-2013.
