High Performance Beverage Co. is charting an interesting course in the arena of sports drinks.  They also have two new athlete endorsers in New England Patriots Nate Ebner and Rufus Johnson. 

They are going to promote their new line of sports drinks.  Due to being members of the high-profile Patriots, Ebner and Johnson are expected to raise brand awareness for the company.

The company has several high-profile athlete endorsers already.  Some of those include Chicago Bulls forward Taj Gibson, Detroit Lions defensive lineman Haloti Ngata and Los Angeles Kings Jonathan Quick. 

Ebner has a unique athletic career.  He is a special teams ace for the Patriots and also is a member of the U.S. national rugby squad.  

Currently, Ebner has a special roster exemption to go compete for the U.S. rugby sevens squad at the Olympics.  New England originally drafted him in the sixth round in 2012 out of Ohio State. 

Johnson has been a reserve defensive lineman for the Patriots since 2014.  The New Orleans Saints drafted him in the sixth round of the 2013 NFL Draft and he spent his first season on the team's practice squad. 

Johnson competed collegiately at Division II Tarleton State.  He was only the fourth player to be drafted out of the school after earning many Division II All-American honors as a senior.
