Amateur athletes throughout the New England region look up to members of the New England Patriots. Some of the best in New Hampshire will get the opportunity to hear from Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola later this month. 

On June 22nd, the Seacoast All-Star Sports Awards will be held at The Music Hall in downtown Portsmouth. There will be several awards handed out including Player of the Year for 25 different sports. 

Nominees receive free tickets and members of the general public can purchase tickets for $25. There is also a pre-event party that includes food vendors and photo opportunities. 

Amendola came up huge this February in New England's 34-28 comeback victory against the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl LI. He made eight catches for 78 yards. 

Amendola also caught a touchdown that helped the Patriots defeat the Seattle Seahawks 28-24 in Super Bowl XLIX. Before joining New England in 2013, he spent the first four seasons of his career with the St. Louis Rams. 

Amendola was undrafted out of Texas Tech and spent time on the practice squad for the Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles. While with the Red Raiders, he was a two-time All-Big 12 selection.
