The YMCA of South Palm Beach County recently got some added punch for their annual Inspiration Breakfast. Keynote speaker Jason Taylor got the news last week that he was being elected into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. 

The event takes place March 7th in Boca Raton, Florida at the Office Depot Global Headquarters. They are hoping to host a sold-out breakfast with over 500 attendees. 

Taylor is a YMCA member who plays basketball there and has coached youth teams. One of the perks of becoming a table sponsor is getting a signed football from the former Miami Dolphins great. 

Taylor spent 13 of his 15 NFL seasons across three different stints with the Dolphins. He racked up 139.5 career sacks, which ranks seventh all-time. 

Taylor also holds the league record with 29 fumble recoveries and ranks second with 48 forced fumbles. HIs nine defensive touchdowns rank first among all defensive linemen. 

The six-time Pro Bowler and three-time first-team All-Pro led the NFL with 18.5 sacks in 2002. He was named NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 2006.
