The 21st annual 9-1-1 Celebrity Golf Tournament hosted by legendary wide receiver Tim Brown is back September 16th. It will take place at Monarch Beach Golf Course in Dana Point, California.
The tourney started in 1992 and it supports 9-1-1 for Kids: Public Education and Providence Educational Foundation. This year, it is presented by AT&T.

Brown played 16 of his 17 NFL seasons with the Raiders franchise. This January, a five-year wait finally came to an end with him being selected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
With 14,934 receiving yards and 105 touchdowns, Brown has some of the most impressive numbers ever amassed at his position. The Raiders originally drafted him sixth overall out of Notre Dame in the 1988 NFL Draft.
Brown is a Fighting Irish legend, having captured the 1987 Heisman Trophy. He was the first wide receiver to be honored with the award.
After a life in the spotlight, Brown’s autobiography “Making of a Man” was published in 2014. He currently lives in Dallas, Texas and stays active in the lives of his four children.
