Later this month New York Giants running back Rashad Jennings is hosting a special event with some of his star teammates.  The Rashad Jennings Giant Night of Comedy takes place on September 26th. 

it will be held at the Gotham Comedy Club in New York City and it starts at 6:30 p.m. Individual tickets are priced at a starting rate of $199.

That ticket will also include a meet and greet with the Giants players and a pre-show cocktail reception.  Some of the other notable players who will be in attendance include Odell Beckham Jr., Jason Pierre-Paul and this year's first round draft pick Eli Apple. 

Jennings has made himself a force to be reckoned with in the Giants backfield.  He has been with the franchise since 2014 and enters the 2016 campaign firmly entrenched as the starter once again.

Last year, Jennings posted a career-high 863 rushing yards and added three touchdowns.  He originally signed with the Giants as a free agent after a season with the Oakland Raiders.

The Jacksonville Jaguars gave Jennings his initial NFL opportunity when they selected him in the seventh round of the 2009 NFL Draft.  He played college football at FCS Liberty and set numerous school and Big South Conference records.
